One of my colleagues once asked me if I was proud to be British
“Yes, of course” I replied, “are you proud to be Chinese?”
“Yes” he said, “why are you proud to be British?”
“I’m not sure” I said, “why are you proud to be Chinese?”
“Because we have the atom bomb”
