I would love to have one. Save me from having to fasten seat belt for my handbag on the passenger seat to shut the alarm up.

on most cars in the USA, if you turn the car on (but not turn the engine) and insert and release the seat belt buckle 30-50 times in less than 60 seconds, you can over-ride the seat belt alarm. =)

Ana, you might have a point actually, the slot at the top probably serves as a beer opener when the clip is in-situ, you just pick up one of the bottles which are rolling around the footwell and open it at waist level on the clip. I’ve lost count of the number of times I’ve almost crashed while fumbling around for a bottle opener while steering with my knees!

The company that made that should also consider:
- air bag puncture needles – no more vision hazards when bashing past fire hydrants
- steel reinforcement for crumple zones
- heavily tinted windshields to protect from traffic light glare.

They could even design a whole new car that does away with that placebo pedal next to the accelerator
