H has got these new shoes which she’s been wearing all over the place (including the pub), she maintains that they’re footwear of choice for the discerning lady back in her village.
Anyway, I’m not having it that they’re shoes, they’re slippers for Christ’s sake, who’s with me?

I think we need to see the soles to make an accurate judgement. Also, today is not Tuesday.
I agree – we need to see the base, it looks like they have rubber soles which would take them right out of the slipper category…
They’re no different to the footwear that old ladies in England wear to go to the chemist to get their prescriptions in … except maybe the colour.

i’d like to change my vote to shoes after seeing the soles.
they are neither shoes nor slippers, no offense to your girlfriend, but they are just plain ole ugly.
