Check-in staff tend to treat you like an imbecile if you don't get it on the first explanation, and God help you if you have a strong European accent, let the fun begin ! I think I heard a rumour somewhere that no-one would let China Eastern have credit so they have to pay for their fuel with cash before the airport will fill them up.
