On my last day in Taipei last week I had the misfortune of eating at MOS Burger, a Japanese burger chain with odd ideas about making burgers.
Basically it’s kind of midway between Mcdonalds and sushi, fillings range from seafood to teriyaki pork (of the thinly sliced variety and the buns are made of sticky rice. It sounded good when they told me about it but I could barely finish it (cue somebody replying that this was their favourite bit about taiwan / japan).
As if that’s not bad enough one of my colleagues had one of their healthy burgers:
The burger is actually fish and the bun has been replaced with err lots of lettuce…. nice…
Thankyou MOS Burger! Never again!
