YES!! You’re dead right, it’s the front half of february (the cold bit) and I’m wearing a t-shirt! OUTSIDE nonetheless!!!

“WHAT????? Has he gone INSANE???” you’re asking yourselves, “NO”, I reply, “IT’S A SCORCHA!!!” (as the Sun would say.)

I’m not quite sure where this heatwave came from, yesterday I came to work, wrapped up as usual, with the heating on in the car as we drove to and from work. Today, we’re driving around at lunchtime and had to set the aircon to cool because it’s too hot and stuff, this is the end of the world I tell you!!

Current temperature are around 23 to 24°C! INFEBRUARY!! Back in the UK we’d be rushing to B&Q to buy barbecue briquettes right now, the hosepipe ban would already be in place too!

Of course, a number of my colleagues are still wearing their thermal underwear (evident when one guy rolled up his trouser legs during the lunch break to try and cool off a bit), it’s still not officially summer and he’s damn well going to sweat it out until then!!

Back to normal tomorrow though, I’ll need to take my umbrella because it’s going to rain. It’s just like being back in the UK except it’s happening over the course of a few days instead of an afternoon!
