Merry Christmas everyone! It’s almost 7:30 am here in the UK and I’m the first up as usual.

Well, when I say “first up” that’s not strictly true, this is H’s first Christmas and she’s as giddy as a 3 year old kid. Last night at midnight she was all “but it’s Christmas day now, can I just open one? I think this one is earrings, is it? is it? is it? why aren’t you answering me??”, I gave in and let her open one in the end or we’d have never got to sleep (she was right, they were earrings).

This morning she woke me up at about quarter past six saying “what’s in the big box, I can’t stop thinking about it, can I open it yet?”, apparently she spent most of the night lying awake agonising about what the other gifts might be.

Anyway, people are stirring now, I’d better get the kettle on, hope everyone has a great Christmas!
