Dingle: I am not old! I am younger than you, much younger!!!

Wiggy: You are not showing me your sympathy. God knows how many times I have asked him to do his laundry. He never did it but kept complaining. As an old friend of his, you need to constantly remind him of this. You are not doing your job!!!

That happens alot with the clothes I get on trips to HK/China.
All those XL shirts are comparable to Med size in the states. Once I bring them back to wash/dry they turn into small! :O

DaveNYC: actually the cloth is Japanese brand: Le souk, under the company FLANDRE. It is one of my favorites. You see I couldn’t sleep tonight, as it is already 3:15am now and my heart is still bleeding. Have you ever had any chance to get your clothes big again?

H, what are you talking about, I’ve seen your passport, it says you were born in 1927!!!

Dave are you sure you don’t just put weight on when you get back to the US and pig out on burgers and hot dogs? ;-)

H, I think we’re lucky to get this incident out of the way, imagine if you’d worn that jumper in the rain, you’d have been squished!!

So, I’m just guessing here, but why not soak it in water (slightly warm water) and see if you can stretch it.

I once did this to a skirt and after getting it wet I stretched it and put it over a cardboard box top. I had to wear it around a bit before it got better, but it worked.

Or you could re-gift it to a small child.

Kristi, I don’t think it’s salvageable but we’ll give it a go. H is really tiny so it’s difficult to scale but the shrunken jumper wouldn’t even fit a child (or my head, I tried it).

It’s really weird, it’s really dense, it feels like a giant dreadlock.

The same thing happened to one of Emma’s jumpers.

The ayi took it away to some magical unshrinking wizard at the top of the tallest mountain, in the deepest darkest cave.

    Came back, still shrunk.

Can we get to the bottom of this “jumper” thing? Why do you guys call it that? It’s a sweater, sweater seems more correct to me, I’m just saying.

I think angie might feel me on this.

Kristi, wow, ok everyone, hands up who wants to see Angie feeling Kristi!!

  15. Posted December 12, 2008 at 3:08 pm | Permalink

Kristi – Why on earth would you call it a sweater? Does it make you sweat? You Americans are just whacky!

Dingle – I’ve been looking for a gift for my 3 month old niece Caitlin, would you mind if I took the jumper? I think it’s the perfect size, now.

Actually Woai I didn’t know this till I just looked it up like 5 seconds ago but . .
yes it does in fact make you sweat.

Send the jumper to America, get someone to film Angie feeling Kristi on it, and we can put this whole thing behind us.

I’m not sure where “Jumper” comes from, but we’ve been wearing them since before you lot were even a country so don’t start with me!!

So James what do you think of The Spurs possibly taking Robbie back?

  19. Posted December 12, 2008 at 6:58 pm | Permalink

Kristi – They sold him for 20 million so if they get him back for 5 million that’s a very good profit in just a few months.

    sorry i’m so late:

H: so sorry to see the SWEATER like that . . . was it one of your favorites? =(
(and i agree, wiggy needs to do a better job of being dingle’s friend . . . or dingle needs to do his own laundry!)

dingle: it’s not all hamburgers and hotdogs here in america . . . there’s pizza and tacos and fried chicken too!

kristi: i’d feel you any time! *wiggles eyebrows* i was actually thinking the same thing – a jumper? it’s a SWEATER! a jumper is what school marms wear with a long sleeve white shirt underneath.

dingle: yes, please. *raises hand in vote of favor*

woai: yes, sweaters can potentially make one sweat . . . but i prefer other methods. please see my comment to kristi above.

james: please! that ol’ go-to is WEAK. please post the SWEATER to kristi, she can come over and we’ll broadcast it live on web/video conferencing once all of the funds in paypal have been confirmed.

kristi: the spurs? the san antonio spurs?

I think you’re getting confused Kristi- Robbie is thinking of going back to Take That, not Spurs

  23. Posted December 17, 2008 at 8:00 pm | Permalink

then leave that to a little girl :)

btw, I post a piece about a famous toilet in Shanghai on observer, would like to let you know :P
