Crocs are back

I was coming back from Singapore yesterday when I saw these monstrosities at the airport.

Crocs o-dial mobile phone / blackberry holders which can be worn around the neck with the optional string or, of course, on your belt with the integral belt clip (by far the coolest way to wear it in my opinion).

What’s more, with those familiar little holes the whole thing is fully customisable!

Word on the street is that Swiss James already has two of these on order, one for his mobile and one for his camera.

I saw a guy in Super Brand mall the other day- a grown man, mark you, who had customised his crocs with Australian flags.

He was telling his 9 year old son about how they were going to put the webcam on and he would show the folks back home, the kid was looking at him with a sort of

“Wow Dad, you really aren’t some kind of superman. You’re actually a sad old bastard”

kind of look.

I saw these the other day when i visited the AT&T store.
Although I have yet to see anyone use these in NY but it was selling for i think $23 USD each.

Dave, I think they were slightly cheaper at Singapore airport, if you were thinking of buying a lot of them (I don’t know how many mobile devices you own) it’s definitely worth flying over to Singapore to do your big shop!

I keep seeing Crocs everywhere I go today in Chicago. There was a Cros store, and there were Crocs window display with nice furry boots at Macy’s. I wonder if SJ will have a special feature on those Crocs on his shoe Tuesday read.
