Malaysia Woes

I just got back from a whistle stop visit to Kuala Lumpur, I was there for a grand total of 30 hours to give a conference paper.

It went mostly well, around 60 people were attending (more than we anticipated) and they seemed interested in what I was saying.

Oh, when I say “mostly well” what I mean is that it went as well as it could considering I stepped into thin air while trying to point something out on the screen and fell off the stage..

Anyway, it got their attention!

Both actually.

Only the attendees were my cabbage patch dolls and it was on the importance of using the the pink plastic comb vs. the yellow brush while grooming them.

Angie, unfortunately it seems like there’s no footage of the fall, apparently everyone was asleep when it happened!

I can email you a full transcript of my presentation if you like, you’ll have to sign a non-disclosure agreement first though.
