So there’s this bar on Julu Lu called Dan’s Old Farmhouse and they have this homebrew concoction called Black Pig. I have no idea what’s in it, it tastes a bit like liquorice mixed with petrol, but it does you proper fine and dandy.
This week one of my good friends (who doesn’t like to be named on the internet but let’s call him John for the sake of argument) agreed to demonstrate the potency of this brew, see the evidence below:
Several Black Pigs:
The normal, shy disposition has disappeared, bongo playing proficiency increased 100 fold, mouth permanently open ready for more Black Pig. You can also observe the effects on Swiss James in the video at around the 46 second mark, drooling like a baby.

Coherency still good, now moved on to playing air guitar and hurling abuse at the bar staff for playing the wrong music.

Dan’s Old Farmhouse- the place to see and be seen!

Swizzle, of course not, there’s nothing there which would cause embarrassment to anyone, let alone John, I mean “John”.
The place to see and be seen? I think the only thing “John” saw after the Farmhouse was the floor as he vomited repeatedly.
It could have been worse. At least he stayed away from the mojitos!
Dingle – I was witness to the vomitting! There was lots of it and funny enough it wasn’t black! The vomitting was quickly followed by denial, stating that he would be OK after a water and a bit of air…..but then he just went home to try and save his dignity!!
Another great night at the Farmhouse, it never lets us down!
Woai, I witnessed “John” on mojitos the week before at Zapatas, the effect was not quite so pronounced and the night ended less messily.
I’d like to say that mojiito’s also take their toll. Let us all take a moment to contemplate Windchime-gate,
Do we have the wind chime video clip? It’s a really good thing you didn’t use “John’s” real name as this is starting to become embarrassing for the poor guy (whose real name is definitely not John)!
